A male is facing life-threatening injuries after being shot in broad daylight in North York Monday afternoon.
It happened at around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Jane Street and Finch Avenue West, Toronto police say.
When officers arrived at the scene they located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police markers can be seen surrounding a skateboard at the scene as officers investigate.

A male victim was taken to a local trauma centre, his identity has not been released.
No suspect information is available.
The eastbound lanes on Finch Avenue West are closed at Elana Drive as police investigate. Those in the area are should expect traffic delays and are being urged to consider alternate routes.
TTC officials said there is currently no Line 6 LRT service between Norfinch Oakdale and Driftwood stations. Shuttle buses are running.
